Kajiduo – Household Task Sharing App
inqdot (“we”, “us”, or “our”), the operator of the household task sharing app “Kajiduo” (the “Service”), sets out this Privacy Policy to explain how we collect, use, and protect your information. By using the Service, you agree to the handling of your information in accordance with this Privacy Policy.
1. Information We Collect
We collect and use the following categories of information to provide and improve the Service:
1.1 Account Information
- Name or nickname
- Email address
- Authentication provider ID and tokens (e.g. Google, Apple, etc.)
- Internal user ID issued by our system
1.2 Lifestyle Information
Information you voluntarily provide about your household and routines, such as:
- Housing details (e.g. number of rooms, bathrooms)
- Household habits (e.g. laundry frequency, cleaning frequency, meal style)
- Family / household structure
- Appliances, pets, seasonal needs and other preferences
We use this to automatically generate and customize household task templates.
1.3 Partner & Shared Group Information
When you connect with a partner (family member or partner) via an invite code, we store:
- Partner invite codes and connection status
- Shared tasks and their completion history
- Shared settings, notes, and chats within the couple / group
1.4 Device and Technical Information
When you access the Service, we may automatically collect:
- Device model, OS version, app version
- IP address, browser / app user agent
- Access timestamps, viewed screens, and basic usage logs
This information is primarily used for security, operation, troubleshooting, and to understand how the Service is used.
1.5 Payment and Subscription Information
For paid features (Kajiduo Premium):
- Purchase history, subscription status, renewal and cancellation information
Credit card and other payment details are processed by the app store (Apple App Store / Google Play, etc.) and payment providers. We do not store your full credit card information on our servers.
1.6 Cookies, Identifiers, and SDKs
The Service and its integrated SDKs may use:
- Device identifiers and tokens
- Authentication / session tokens
- Push notification tokens
- Cookies or similar technologies on our website
These are used to maintain sessions, authenticate users, prevent fraud, deliver notifications, and link your account with subscriptions.
You can manage cookies through your browser settings, but some website features may not function properly if cookies are disabled.
2. How We Use Your Information
We use the collected information for the following purposes:
- To provide and operate the Service, including generating and updating optimal household task lists and templates based on your lifestyle information.
- To enable task sharing, synchronization, division of labor, and information sharing between connected partners (family / couples).
- To manage paid plans (Kajiduo Premium), verify your subscription status, and unlock premium features.
- To perform user authentication, maintain security, and prevent unauthorized or fraudulent use.
- To send important notices related to the Service, such as operational updates or changes to this Policy.
- To provide reminders and other push notifications that you configure.
- To analyze usage and improve the Service, including UI/UX improvements and feature development.
- To create aggregated, anonymized statistics that do not identify individual users.
3. Sharing with Partners (Family / Couples)
This Service is specifically designed for sharing data with a “partner” or household member.
When you connect with another user via an invite code:
- Your profile information, lifestyle settings, task templates, task completion history, and shared notes/chats may be visible to the connected partner.
- Likewise, you may view the corresponding information of that partner.
Do not input information about another person that you are not allowed to share.
If you disconnect from a partner, some shared history may remain as part of the group record until the group itself is deleted.
4. Third-Party Services and Data Transfers
We use the following external services (modules). Information may be transmitted to these providers only to the extent necessary for the purposes described below.

Clerk (Auth / ID Management)
Purpose: User identification, login, session management, authentication security
Data examples: Email address, authentication provider IDs and tokens, internal user IDs -
RevenueCat (Billing / Subscription Management)
Purpose: Subscription status management, purchase verification, linking subscriptions with users
Data examples: Internal user IDs, app store transaction identifiers, subscription status -
Cloudflare (Backend / Infrastructure)
Purpose: API delivery, data storage, performance optimization, security
Data examples: Stored app data (such as tasks and settings), IP addresses and access logs -
Expo and related notification services (Push Notifications)
Purpose: Delivery of reminders and notifications configured by the user
Data examples: Device push tokens, basic app identification information
These providers may store or process data on servers located outside your country of residence. We use reputable providers and take reasonable steps so that your information is handled securely and in accordance with applicable laws.
We do not sell your personal information to third parties.
5. Third-Party Sharing, Legal Requirements, and Business Transfers
We may share your information in the following limited situations:
- When required by laws, regulations, court orders, or requests from public authorities.
- When reasonably necessary to protect the rights, property, or safety of us, our users, or the public.
- In connection with a business transfer such as a merger, acquisition, or transfer of business assets. In such case, the successor will handle your information in accordance with this Privacy Policy or a policy providing a similar level of protection.
We will not provide your personal information to third parties for their independent marketing purposes without your consent.
6. Data Retention and Deletion
We retain your personal information only as long as necessary to achieve the purposes described in this Policy, or as required by law.
If you request account deletion, we will delete or anonymize your personal information stored in our systems (including Clerk and our databases) within a reasonable period.
Some information may remain in backups for a limited time, but will be deleted in the normal course of backup rotation.
If the last member of a couple (group) leaves and all accounts related to the group are deleted, we will delete the shared group data as well.
7. Your Rights and Choices
Depending on applicable laws, you may have the right to:
- Access your personal information we hold
- Correct or update your information
- Request deletion of your information
- Restrict or object to certain types of processing
We will handle such requests within a reasonable period in accordance with applicable law.

You may also control certain information directly in the app, such as editing your profile, lifestyle settings, and task preferences, or disconnecting from a partner.
8. Security Measures
We implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect your personal information from unauthorized access, loss, misuse, or alteration.
Communication between the app and our servers is encrypted using SSL/TLS.
Access to stored data is restricted to authorized personnel and systems as necessary to operate the Service.
However, no method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.
9. Children’s Privacy
The Service is not primarily directed to children under 13 years old.
If a child uses the Service, we expect that a parent or legal guardian will review this Policy and appropriately supervise the use of the Service.
Parents and guardians should avoid entering more personal information about their children than is reasonably necessary for household task management.
If we become aware that we have collected personal information from a child in violation of applicable laws, we will take steps to delete such information.
10. International Data Transfers
Your information may be processed and stored on servers located outside your country or region (for example, in the United States, European Union, or other locations where our service providers operate). By using the Service, you understand that your information may be transferred to and processed in such countries. We take reasonable steps so that your information receives an adequate level of protection.
11. Changes to This Privacy Policy
We may update this Privacy Policy from time to time. If we make important changes, we will notify you via the app or on our website and indicate the effective date of the updated Policy. Your continued use of the Service after the effective date means that you accept the updated Policy.
