Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") set forth the conditions for using the household task sharing app "Kajiduo" (the "Service") operated by inqdot ("we", "us", or "our").

By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.

If you do not agree to these Terms, you must not use the Service.

1. Service Overview

The Service enables a household group (for example, couples or families) to share and manage chores and related information together. Users can create tasks, share them with other members, record completion status, and view household task history and related information.

We may update, add, or remove features of the Service at our discretion.

2. Eligibility and Accounts

To use the Service, you must agree to these Terms and, where required by law, be at least 13 years old or use the Service under the supervision and consent of a parent or legal guardian.

You must provide accurate and up-to-date information when creating your account and keep it updated as necessary.

You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login information and for all activities that occur under your account.

You must not allow third parties to use your account, nor transfer, lend, or sell your account to others.

If we determine that you have violated these Terms, we may suspend or delete your account, or restrict your use of the Service.

3. Paid Plans and Subscriptions (Kajiduo Premium)

The Service may offer paid plans, including "Kajiduo Premium", which provide additional features.

Fees, billing cycles, and available plans are shown within the app or on the app store (e.g. Apple App Store / Google Play).

In-app purchases and subscriptions are handled by the app store. Payment terms, renewal, and cancellation are subject to the app store’s rules.

Unless otherwise stated, subscriptions are automatically renewed at the end of each billing period unless you cancel the subscription before the renewal date through your app store account settings.

We do not provide refunds for fees already paid, except where required by applicable law or the app store’s own refund policies.

If you delete your account or uninstall the app, your subscription will not be automatically cancelled. You must cancel the subscription via your app store account settings.

4. Prohibited Conduct

You must not engage in any of the following acts when using the Service:

• Acts that violate laws or regulations, or that are related to criminal activity
• Acts that infringe the rights or interests of others, including intellectual property rights, privacy, and reputation
• Harassment, threats, discrimination, or any behavior that causes discomfort to others
• Inputting false information or impersonating another person
• Unauthorized access to systems, or attempting to probe, scan, or test the vulnerability of the Service or related networks
• Overloading the Service, interfering with servers or networks, or disrupting the operation of the Service
• Reverse engineering, decompiling, or otherwise analyzing the source code of the Service beyond what is permitted by law
• Using the Service for advertising, promotion, solicitation, or other commercial purposes not authorized by us
• Any other acts that we deem inappropriate in light of the purpose and operation of the Service

If we determine that your conduct falls under any of the above, we may take measures such as restricting your use of the Service, suspending or deleting your account, or any other actions we consider necessary.

5. Handling of Content and Data

You retain rights to the content and data you create or input into the Service, such as tasks, notes, and settings, to the extent allowed by law.

By using the Service, you grant us a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, store, reproduce, and modify such content within the scope necessary to operate, improve, and provide the Service.

We may analyze your content and usage data in an anonymized or aggregated form to improve the Service and develop new features.

You are solely responsible for the content you input. If your content causes damage or disputes with a third party, you shall resolve it at your own expense and responsibility.

We are not obligated to back up your content. We may delete content due to account deletion, system failures, or other reasons, and we are not liable for any damages arising from such deletion except where liability cannot be excluded by law.

6. Sharing Within Household / Group

The Service is designed to share information within a household group (for example, couples or families). When you join or create a group, your profile information, tasks, task history, and related settings may be visible to other members of that group.

Do not input information about other people unless you have the right to share such information with the group.

If you leave a group, some shared history may remain visible to the remaining members, as necessary for the Service’s operation.

7. Changes, Suspension, and Termination of the Service

We may modify, suspend, or terminate all or part of the Service at any time for reasons such as system maintenance, security, operational needs, or business reasons.

We will make reasonable efforts to notify users in advance of significant changes or termination, but may do so without prior notice in urgent situations.

We are not liable for any damages incurred by users due to modification, suspension, or termination of the Service, except where liability cannot be excluded by law.

8. Withdrawal and Account Deletion

You may delete your account at any time via the in-app settings (“Settings → Delete Account”) or by contacting us.

When you delete your account, we will handle your personal information in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

If multiple members share data within a group, we may remove or anonymize personally identifiable information related to you, while allowing shared tasks and history to remain for the other members where appropriate.

9. Disclaimer of Warranties

The Service is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis.

We do not guarantee that the Service will be free from defects, errors, security vulnerabilities, or interruptions.

We do not guarantee that the Service will meet your particular purposes, expectations, or results (including improvement of household task division, reduction of conflicts, etc.).

We are not responsible for any disputes, troubles, or damages arising between users (including between partners, family members, or group members) in connection with the use of the Service.

10. Limitation of Liability

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, we shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or in connection with the use of the Service.

To the maximum extent permitted by applicable law, our total liability to you for any damages arising out of or relating to the Service shall not exceed the total amount of fees you have paid to us for the Service during the six (6) months immediately preceding the event giving rise to the claim.

The above limitations do not apply where our liability cannot be excluded or limited under applicable law (for example, in cases of intentional misconduct or gross negligence).

11. Changes to These Terms

We may revise these Terms when necessary.

If we make important changes, we will notify you by posting the updated Terms within the app or on our website, or by other appropriate means, and indicate the effective date.

If you use the Service after the revised Terms become effective, you will be deemed to have accepted the revised Terms.

If you do not agree to the revised Terms, you must stop using the Service and delete your account.

12. Governing Law and Jurisdiction

These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan.

Any disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms or the Service shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Japan.
